The Facilitators Tips

Embrace "I" Language for Enhanced Emotional Intelligence

One of the key principles of the BLISS Framework I use in my work is “I” language. "I" language is a powerful tool for fostering emotional intelligence. Why? Expressing experiences and emotions from a first-person perspective heightens self-awareness, can build trust, and create a collaborative and respectful space for communication. “I” language encourages vulnerability, allowing me to own my emotions and understand the roots of my discomfort. It empowers me to connect more authentically with others, fostering empathy and understanding, while also respecting individual differences. Embracing "I" language has been a transformational practice for cultivate deeper connections and for my own personal growth. It’s a simple concept, but it’s not always easy! I encourage you to try it out and share any discoveries you find insightful during our time together.

Self-Compassion Is a Leadership Power Move

One of the core pillars of my Inner Mastery framework and coaching high performers is self-compassion. The fierce kind of self-compassion that leaders need when everything’s on the line. Through my toughest times personally and professionally, self-compassion didn’t just keep me going. It sharpened my leadership. It made me more courageous. It taught me that real success isn’t about pushing through—it’s about knowing how to come back to yourself when things break. High-performers often confuse self-compassion with weakness. But it’s the opposite. It ’s a strategic reset. A nervous system recalibration. A moment of truth-telling that says: “I’m still here. And I’m leading from wholeness—not from burnout. ”Try this: Next time the pressure builds, put your hand on your heart and say, “This is hard. But I’ve got me. And I lead better when I lead myself first. ”Self-compassion is not a retreat from power—it’s a return to it. And it’s what makes sustainable success possible.
